Design that is part of the structure
In MOODEM saunas, design is never separated from construction.
Each design element also serves a structural role. The walls, the insulated CLT floor, and the wide CLT trim elements work together as part of a unified structural system.
Every installed component becomes part of the overall construction, with each element precisely fitting into its place within the structure
Handcrafted modular construction
This approach allows the sauna to be assembled from carefully crafted modules that are prepared and finished by hand in our factory.
Because each module is precisely made before installation, the assembly process is simple, logical, and reliable.
Only basic tools are required, such as a cordless drill and a rubber mallet.
Built for nordic conditions
The structural elements are designed specifically for Nordic conditions. The floor modules are built from insulated CLT panels, creating a strong and stable base for the sauna. The side wall elements are made from high-quality thermally modified Nordic spruce, known for its durability and resistance to moisture. The roof elements include additional insulation to ensure thermal efficiency and comfort in colder climates.
The sauna stands on adjustable support feet, allowing it to be installed even on slightly uneven ground. These adjustable feet make it quick and easy to level the base of the sauna, helping ensure a fast and straightforward overall assembly.
The sauna door is built with a solid CLT frame, providing strength and stability while maintaining the clean architectural appearance of the design. Together, these elements create a durable modular sauna that is well suited for the Nordic climate.
